CT BEDS is a family-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization proudly based right here in Connecticut. We live here, we raise our family here, and we’ve experienced our share of difficult times. We know what it feels like to struggle and how life-changing it can be to feel seen, supported, and cared for. That’s why we started CT BEDS—to bring hope, comfort, and dignity to those facing some of life’s hardest moments.

We provide brand-new beds completely free of charge to children, women, and men across Connecticut who are experiencing difficult transitions. Whether someone is moving out of homelessness, aging out of foster care, fleeing domestic violence, or someone who doesn’t have a bed because of hardships, CT BEDS is here to do more than just drop off a bed—we’re here to offer a fresh start.

All linen, which includes Fitted bed sheets, flat sheet, pillow case, comforter, and pillow, will be made possible by the wonderful partnership we have with Linens of Love—an amazing organization with 10 years of service to the people of Connecticut. To learn more about them, please click here.

Every person we serve is referred to us by a trusted partner, like a caseworker, social worker, housing agency, or nonprofit organization. That way, we know each bed is going directly to someone with a real and immediate need.

When we deliver a bed, here’s what that truly means: we provide a brand-new twin bed frame, mattress, pillow, and full set of linens—including bedsheets, pillowcase, and a blanket—along with a special gift. We call this our “Connecticut Welcomes You Home” package, because at the end of the day, this mission is made possible by the people of Connecticut. It’s neighbors taking care of neighbors—people helping people, right here at home.

CT BEDS is 100% funded by the people of Connecticut, and every act of kindness—whether it’s a donation, a shared post, or a delivered bed—helps us bring peace, rest, and healing to someone who truly needs it. We don’t just serve Connecticut—we are Connecticut. And together, we’re restoring lives one bed at a time.
